Pike & Trident have released their second episode! Two of my brilliant friends started this webseries about an odd couple-type pairing of time-traveling museum curators from the future who accidentally sent a bunch of their museum artifacts scattered through time. Now they have to go back through time to reclaim the various items - and many hijinks ensue! Their first episode found them squabbling after a fight with some Vikings. In their second episode, they stumble into the boudoir of Napoleon's wife, Empress Josephine, having a scandalous affair with her infamous lover Hippolyte Charles, with some sassy swordplay as foreplay. I am the costumer for the series as well as getting to play Empress Josephine. Enjoy!

Rehearsals begin tomorrow morning for my third season with Shakespeare By The Sea! This summer we are doing Othello and Cymbeline - I have the great honor/pleasure of playing Emilia opposite one of my favorite actors as Iago, Patrick Vest, who also happens to be one of my favorite directors - he directed our As You Like It last summer and our Midsummer the summer before that. This is such an incredible company to work with and I am beyond excited to dive in once again to some Shakespeare!

I am so happy to announce I will be performing in The Porter's of Hellsgate's production of The Winter's Tale! The Porters is a fabulous company based primarily out of North Hollywood that is making its way through Shakespeare's entire canon. This play marks the halfway point, and I feel incredibly privileged to be a part of it! I have been aware of the company for a while but this is my first time treading the boards with them. We are halfway through the rehearsal process and I am thrilled with how the show is looking already! We open October 18th, come out and see some Shakespeare-y goodness!

I had the honor/priviledge/really awesomely good time of filming the cold open for this year's Geekie Awards with an awesome crew of people, some old friends and some new - a fantasy spoof full of fighting and ridiculousness. We filmed it a month ago and had to keep quiet until the awards ceremony, but that happened and now the short is available for watching! Enjoy!

The Los Angeles Times featured our A Midsummer Night's Dream in a photo blog on their website and in the Sunday Arts & Entertainment section! Here's a link to their lovely pictures (Including a few of us getting ready and warming up, some shots of our Polliwog Park audience in Manhattan Beach, and some lovely shots of the show itself!):

A Midsummer Night's Dream with Shakespeare by the Sea is open!! I have the privilege of playing Hermia amongst a cast of incredibly talented folks in a fantastic production of one of my favorite plays. Does it get any better than this? not much. Come see it! We are in rep with Hamlet at Pt. Fermin Park in San Pedro through July 6th and then we hit the road and take the show to a variety of parks all over the greater LA area, with a couple shows in Orange County too, through mid-August, and then back to Pt. Fermin on August 16th for our closing performance. Join us for some shenanigans at the hands of those mischievous fairies!
